Usborne has a large selection of books published by Usborne and Kane/Miller publishing. Usborne Books and More is the home business division of Educational Development Corporation or EDC.

EDC is a publicly traded company, listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange with the symbol EDUC. EDC was founded in 1961 to develop supplemental curriculum material for schools. In 1978, EDC acquired the rights to publish children's books from Usborne Publishing in England.

In 1989, EDC created the direct selling division called "Usborne Books at Home" or UBAH. In 2008, EDC acquired Kane/Miller Publishing, an internationally known publisher of children's books with over 20 years in the industry.

Today you can find Usborne books sold in lots of places, from book fairs to major chains such as WalMart, Borders, and Target. It is a testament to the awesomeness of Usborne books that so many people want to sell them and get involved with them in some way, and ultimately, to give these great educational books to their children.
