Usborne Books used to have an Usborne Farmyard Tales book called Woolly Stops the Train without the stickers but now they have Woolly Stops the Train Sticker Book instead. It is a Farmyard Tales Sticker Storybooks by Heather Amery and Stephen Cartwright. The book measures 8 1/2 x 10 7/8 inches, has 16 pages with 2 pages of stickers. This book is a great activity and storybook for children ages 4 years and up. A storybook, sticker book and puzzle book in one. There is a charmingly illustrated Farmyard Tales story to read.The books contains over 50 stickers and a rebus puzzle activity runs throughout the book.

The Old Steam Train is another book in the popular Usborne Farmyard Tales Readers Series by Heather Amery and Stephen Cartwright. The book measures 8 1/4 x 8 1/4 inches, has 16 pages and is great for children ages 4 and up. You never read this book once, at least 3 times in one sitting. The pictures are on a white background, which make them easy to look at. They are wonderful, bright and very descriptive drawings. This all assists the child to start reading books and they don’t want to stop. They learn to read the short simple text located on top of the page (about 5 easy words). Then the book has longer text on the bottom of the page, which you read to the child. You build up the child’s confidence and then they start to read the whole book with you. The book also has maps of Apple Tree Farm. In which you can do your own stories and see where the story you have just read. Also a little yellow duck is on every page for the child to find.
