Hide and Seek Christmas is a great book in the Usborne Touchy-Feely Flap Books series. It is great for children ages 2 years and up. The book measures 8 1/2 x 10 1/8 inches and has 10 pages. Have fun finding all the Christmas things in this touchy-feely flap book.

The Usborne Noisy board books are excellent for children ages 2 years and up. All of the noisy board books shown below are in the Busy Sounds Board Book series. Each book has 10 pages and measures 11 3/4 x 10 7/8 inches. The titles shown below are noisy zoo, noisy town, noisy animals, and noisy building site. It’s a normal, noisy day in the busy town with sirens blaring, people talking, cash registers beeping, bells ringing and horns honking. Little hands will not be able to resist pressing the buttons to make all the everyday sounds.

Usborne Books has a great Bible Tales Readers series of books. The Usborne Easter Story is an Accelerated Reader book in this series. This book retold by Heather Amery is great for children ages 2 years and up. The book is designed and illustrated by Norman Young, measures 8 1/4 x 8 1/4 inches, and has 16 pages. Usborne Bible Tales have been specially written for young children just beginning to read. In The Easter Story, the dramatic events of the Crucifixion are recounted in simple language, staying close to the original story. The charming illustrations engage the reader and give clear clues to the words and their meanings and the pictures are full of historically accurate detail that recreates the setting of the story.

Frog on a Log is a cute phonic flap board book by Usborne. The book measures 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches, has 10 pages and is by Phil Roxbee Cox and Stephen Cartwright. Usborne’s popular phonics readers are now available as simplified board books with flaps! Every other page has a flap that tell you more about the frog and his adventure on the log. All of the Easy Words To Read series are fantastic for children to learn phonics. Great illustrations, nice little story line and best of all, they are made up of mostly phonetic words that repeat. “Frog on a Log” was the first book in this series we purchased. It was such a hit that we decided to purchase “Goose on the Loose” and “Fat Cat on a Mat” for some phonics variety, and they are loved just as much. My kids, ages 1 and 3, love to read these books over and over and over and over… so beware of that before you buy!”
