Whether you are learning French for the first time or are looking to learn more French vocabulary, this is a fun book to have. The book measures 9 1/4 x 12 1/4 inches, has 64 pages and is perfect for children between the ages of 3 - 12 years old. This delightful picture-word book makes it easy for young readers to learn new words. The book comes with Internet Linked pronunciation guide. There is also a Sticker Book version of this First Thousand Words in French book with 500 stickers. This book earned the 1999 Dr. Toy's Best Classic Toys Award. The book is by Heather Amery and illustrated by Stephen Cartwright. Lorraine Sharp was the French language consultant for this book. This First Thousand Words in French makes French easy to learn. There are lots of pictures and illustration on every page to help you remember the words. All French words for things and people are either masculine or feminine. A few French word have accents. The book measures 8 x 9 1/2 inches and has 32 pages. This book is so good that it earned the Parents' Choice Approved Titles Award.
