It’s Christmas
October 3rd, 2009It's Christmas by Tina Burke is a very cute book published by Kane Miller for children of all ages preparing for Christmas. It is a hardback book with 32 pages and many parents say that it is by far the perfect holiday book for excited kids! This book is so adorable. The illustrations are so cute. There are so many pictures of happy boys and girls and Santa too. It is so loved by kids and parents that it earned the Mom's Choice Award.
Simple text accompanies the sweetest illustrations of children preparing for Christmas which makes this book a perfect read for children between ages 4 years and 8 years old. There is not much to read but the author does an excellent job of including all the traditional activities that we typically associate with this time of the year through simple, short sentences and extremely sweet illustrations. Baking cookies? Check. Visiting Santa? Check. Decorating the tree, wrapping gifts, hanging stockings and that final long wait on Christmas Eve are all depicted here with adorable drawings. This is one of the happiest books to read for kids around Christmas time.
