The book measures 8 1/2 x 10 7/8 inches and has 64 pages of fascinating facts and information. The book is so great that it earned the 2002 Austin Young Engineer's Book Award for Grade 3-6 Resource Books. This Usborne First Encyclopedia of Seas and Oceans is Internet-linked. It is also sold through Scholastic Publishing company even though it is an Usborne book. There are amazing pictures as well as great illustrations in this book. Learn about underwater life, who eats who, coral reefs, coral reef animals, poisonous animals, sharks, rays, whales, dolphins, cold oceans, waves, currents, tides, coasts, seashore life, dangerous seas, and much more.
