The book measures 8 1/2 x 10 7/8 inches and has 64 pages of fascinating facts and information. The book is so great that it earned the 2002 Austin Young Engineer's Book Award for Grade 3-6 Resource Books. This Usborne First Encyclopedia of Seas and Oceans is Internet-linked. It is also sold through Scholastic Publishing company even though it is an Usborne book. There are amazing pictures as well as great illustrations in this book.
